About the Ministry

The Ministry of Information, Communication and Technology of the Northeastern Somalia administration plays a major and important role in the building and development of the administration. It is responsible for managing and regulating the sectors of media, communication, and technology within the administration.

The Ministry plays a significant role in ensuring that news and information are disseminated through various media channels, including the government news agency, television, and radio. It also works to develop communication systems by promoting the use of modern technology to boost the economy and improve community livelihoods.
