Ministry Message
The Ministry of Information, Communication and Technology of the Northeastern Somalia administration plays a major and important role in the building and development of the administration. It is responsible for managing and regulating the sectors of media, communication, and technology within the administration.
The Ministry plays a significant role in ensuring that news and information are disseminated through various media channels, including the government news agency, television, and radio. It also works to develop communication systems by promoting the use of modern technology to boost the economy and improve community livelihoods.

Today, I am pleased to present to you the key achievements of the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology (MICT) of the Northeastern State of Somalia. These achievements reflect our continued efforts to strengthen digital governance, improve public access to information, and modernize government services through technology.
The information and communication technology sector is a vital, community-based infrastructure that plays a central role in national development. It supports the growth, efficiency, and connectivity of all sectors, including education, health, security, and economic development.
